This past weekend I got to get out of the city and out to a small town for Thanksgiving.
My friend Liz took me out about an hour before I had to come back to Montreal to show me this lookout and watch the sunset.
The colours in this scene left me in awe. The mountains in the back also seemed so small and gave me that "top of the world" feeling.
It was a beautiful site to behold. Definately something I want to go back and shoot again.
Comments and criticism are welcomed greatly.
Beautiful blend of colours! This is one of those landscapes that in autumn give an awesome view. I like the vertical shape that shows every gradation of colour and the low light on those amazing trees. It's a really beautiful picture!
Totally beautiful, both the scenery and the final photo.
I might try to see what it looks like after giving it a twirl in NeatImage...maybe this way you can get rid of the prominent grain.
Brilliantly composed with all these different layers (Foliage in the foreground, mountainrange in the distance and this gorgeous multi-coloured sky).
Top notch photo I must say...

Thank you.
Autumn is here and I'm stuck in the city. Oi. I think this trip to the country was sufficient enough to last the rest of the season, haha.
Thanks again for your comment.

- Monkeys aren't donkeys! Quit messing with my head!
Thank you very much.
It means a lot.
I tried pushing it through NeatImage. The results are nice, but kind of remind me of an oil painting. I guess it's just not something I'm used to yet, haha. Who knows.
Thanks again.
